Steve competed between 1946 and 1950 .. a relatively short time , but in that time he won such titles as AAU Mr Pacific coast , twice 1946 and 19947 , AAU Mr western America 1947 , AAU Mr America 1947 , H&S Mr Universe Tall Class winner 1948 , and of course finished his career on a high winning by winning the first Official NABBA Mr Universe Overall title in 1950 .. the most prestigious title in the history of the irongame. After this Steve went onto be a movie star , action hero of his day and played Parts such as Hercules , Goliath , Sandokan as well as other rolls . Steve passed away on May 1st 2000 .. A true Legend.
